What’s Coming to Disneyland in 2026?
Get ready to mark your calendars as Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary celebrations continue until August 9, 2026!
Disneyland isn’t the only one celebrating an anniversary, as the United States’ 250th anniversary is also being celebrated throughout the park.
There are also some exciting new additions at Downtown Disney. So, here’s everything you need to know!
Attractions
There are no new attractions arriving at Disneyland in 2026, but two attractions are receiving updates: one will be a permanent addition, while the other is a limited-time version created especially for the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Mandalorian & Grogu Join Smugglers Run
A brand-new mission is coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run on May 22, 2026! Join the Mandalorian and Grogu as you track down ex-Imperial officers. The bounty you choose will lead you on one of three adventures.

The Imagineers have also taken this opportunity to update the attraction. Pilots will notice that the Falcon’s controls are now more responsive. Gunners can choose between two targeting modes: an automatic mode that targets enemies or a manual mode for greater control. Flight Engineers will now decide which planet to visit and operate a new tractor beam to collect cargo.

The mission begins with a trip to Tatooine, where you and the Mandalorian will seek out some of the bounties you’ve been pursuing. From there, flight engineers will need to decide which bounty they wish to follow, and depending on their choice, your adventure may lead you to the iconic Cloud City of Bespin, the dense city-planet of Coruscant, or the wreckage of the second Death Star, still orbiting around Endor. Depending on how successful your mission is, you may return to Hondo with anywhere between zero and six crates of cargo. – Disney
Soarin’ Across America
Soarin’ will receive a special update to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. Starting July 2, Soarin’ will transform into Soarin’ Across America!
Guests will fly from coast to coast, taking in breathtaking landscapes and visiting iconic landmarks such as the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore.
Patrick Warburton reprises his iconic role, now as Captain to deliver the pre-flight safety instructions.
Resturants
Downtown Disney will welcome three new dining options in 2026: a brand-new bakery, a new sit-down restaurant, and its sister quick-service restaurant.
Porto’s Bakery
Porto’s, the popular Cuban bakery from Southern California, is coming to Downtown Disney! Their new location will take over the space formerly occupied by La Brea Bakery.

The bakery will be two stories and will be their first location to offer sit-down table service and a full bar!
The concept art below shows patios on both floors, each offering outdoor seating.

Porto’s will serve its signature items, including its famous cheese rolls, potato balls and refugiados.
Construction is currently underway. However, no opening date has been announced. It is likely to open either in late 2026 or early 2027.
Arthur & Sons Steak & Bourbon
Arthur & Sons is a new steakhouse set to open in Downtown Disney. The new restaurant is owned by Michelin-star chef Joe Isidori, co-founder of Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers, a popular Downtown Disney destination.
The steakhouse will replace Tortilla Jo’s, which closed in 2024 and was demolished in 2025.

While a menu hasn’t been published, we can expect prime cuts of beef, seafood, sandwiches, and salads to be on offer.
There will also be an extensive bourbon selection; it is in the name after all!
Pearl’s Roadside BBQ
Pearl’s Roadside BBQ, the quick-service sibling to Arthur & Sons, is another creation by Joe Isidori. Guests can enjoy pulled pork, brisket and smoked turkey, plus craft beers and moonshine cocktails.

The spacious patio and Shine Bar will have views of the Downtown Disney promenade, creating a welcoming vibe for guests to make a pit stop to enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail or casual meal that is prepared low and slow. – Disney

There is still no opening date for Arthur & Sons or Pearl’s BBQ Roadside, but it’s expected to open late 2026 or possibly early 2027.
