Everything New At Disney World in 2027
There are big changes coming to Disney World in 2027, with brand-new lands at both Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios!
Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is set to welcome a brand-new land, replacing DinoLand U.S.A. It will feature the first-ever Encanto ride at a Disney park, along with exciting new Indiana Jones adventures.
Pueblo Esperanza
Pueblo Esperanza, which means “Village of Hope,” will be a brand-new land themed around the Tropical Americas. It’s set to be completed in stages, and Disney hopes that it will all be finished by 2027.

Below are the confirmed attractions that will be a part of Pueblo Esperanza.
Esperanza Character Carousel
In the Village of Pueblo Esperanza, a local woodcarver has crafted an enchanting wooden carousel. However, instead of traditional horses, guests can ride beautifully carved animals from Disney and Pixar films.

Madrigal Casita
Encanto is finally coming to Disney World with a Madrigal Casita ride! You’ll get to explore the Casita on what’s expected to be a dark ride, taking you through scenes from the Encanto movie, meeting the Madrigal family along the way.

One of these scenes is expected to be Antonio’s rainforest bedroom, as shown in the concept art below.

The first-ever “Encanto”-themed ride-through attraction is coming to Animal Kingdom, featuring the beloved Madrigal family from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest. It’s time to go explore alongside him, and you never know what member of the family you might bump into. – Disney
Indiana Jones Adventure
Pueblo Esperanza will also include an Indiana Jones Adventure ride, which will replace the existing Dinosaur attraction. The old Dinosaur building will be transformed into a temple that seamlessly blends with the new area.

This ride system will remain the same, with guests entering a vehicle, but new scenes will depict Indy exploring a temple, and you get to join him on his adventure!

In this new venture, the man with the hat has recently discovered a perfectly preserved Maya temple, and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to explore it. He’s heard rumours about a mythical creature deep within the temple — and he’s got to see it for himself. So, he brings us along on the adventure… but will there be snakes? We’ll just have to wait and see. – Disney
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios has seen many changes over the years, with the introduction of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land, and even more changes are on the way!
Monsters Inc. Land
For the first time ever, humans are being welcomed into the monster world as Monstropolis is coming to Hollywood Studios!

The land is expected to feature both dining and shopping options, including the famous Harryhausens restaurant! It will also feature The Globe Theatre.
The most exciting news is that Monstropolis will have Disney’s first suspended coaster! As you can see in the concept art below, you’ll be hoisted into the air and zoom through the door vault just like Sully and Mike in the movie!

Construction has already started, but there’s no opening date just yet. You can keep up to date with everything we know about the new Monsters Inc. Land here.
Resorts
Disney hasn’t opened a new resort since Riviera Resort in 2019, but a brand-new destination is coming in 2027.
Lakeshore Lodge
Lakeshore Lodge is a new waterfront resort located on the shores of Bay Lake, scheduled to open in Summer 2027.

The lodge will be inspired by Disney stories rooted in nature, such as Pocahontas, Bambi, and Brother Bear. It will have 967 rooms, including suites and studios, plus one- and two-bedroom houses will be available along the waterfront.
Construction has already started on the project, but we’re still waiting for Disney to release more details. You can find out everything we know here.
