Pueblo Esperanza: Coming Soon To Animal Kingdom!
Pueblo Esperanza, which means “Village of Hope,” is a brand new land themed around the Tropical Americas, coming to Animal Kingdom.
Construction is already underway, with the land being developed in stages, and Disney hopes the entire project will be finished in 2027.

Location
Pueblo Esperanza will be replacing DinoLand U.S.A which closed on Febuary 2, 2026.
All of the attractions and restaurants in DinoLand are now closed, which means we’ve officially said goodbye to DINOSAUR. However, it’s not the end for DINOSAUR as the attraction is getting reimagined with a brand-new theme. You can read more about that later.
Attractions
Pueblo Esperanza will feature three attractions. Two of them will be brand-new, whilst the other is a reimagined version of a classic ride.
Esperanza Character Carousel
The story goes that a local woodcarver handcrafted the Esperanza Carousel. Instead of traditional horses, guests can ride animals from Disney and Pixar movies.

We can see from the concept art below that Timone, Eeyore and Nigel from Finding Nemo are amongst the characters included, but this could always change. Kevin from “UP” is a confirmed character, as he was showcased at the 2024 D23 Expo.

Madrigal Casita
Encanto is finally coming to Disney World with a Madrigal Casita ride! You’ll get to explore the Casita on what’s expected to be a dark ride, where you’ll be taken through different scenes and meet the Madrigal family along the way.

One of these scenes is expected to be Antonio’s rainforest bedroom, as shown in the concept art below. Since this is a ride through the casita, there’s a chance that other scenes may include the bedrooms of other family members.

The first-ever “Encanto”-themed ride-through attraction is coming to Animal Kingdom, featuring the beloved Madrigal family from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. Inside the Casita, Antonio has just received his special gift — the ability to communicate with animals — and his room has transformed into a rainforest. It’s time to go explore alongside him, and you never know what member of the family you might bump into. – Disney
Indiana Jones Adventure
Pueblo Esperanza will also include an Indiana Jones Adventure ride. Remember when I said that DINOSAUR was being reimagined? Well, this is the ride that’s replacing it.
The old DINOSAUR building will be transformed into a Maya temple that seamlessly blends with the new area.

This ride system will remain the same, with guests entering a vehicle, but new scenes will depict Indy exploring a temple, and you get to join him on his adventure!

In this new venture, the man with the hat has recently discovered a perfectly preserved Maya temple, and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to explore it. He’s heard rumours about a mythical creature deep within the temple — and he’s got to see it for himself. So, he brings us along on the adventure… but will there be snakes? We’ll just have to wait and see. – Disney
Dining
So far, the only information available about dining at Pueblo Esperanza is that it will feature a hacienda, which will be the largest quick-service restaurant at Disney World!
You can see the hacienda in the concept art below.

Hopefully we’ll get some more information about the new land soon. What are your thoughts on the new land?
