Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Opening Date Announced!
It was announced in 2023 that a 3-D Zootopia show would be replacing “It’s Tough To Be A Bug” in the Tree of Life Theatre at Animal Kingdom, and now we have an opening date! Zootopia: Better Zoogether will open on November 7, 2025!
Better Zoogether!
Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman are reprising their roles as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. There will also be other familiar characters returning, along with a few new faces.
One of those new characters is Heidi Howler, who is the host of the Zoogether Day LIVE! broadcast, which showcases all the festivities taking place for Zoogether Day.
Zoogether Day, a celebration of unity amongst the diverse biomes across the city, will be recognized with special performances such as ice-skating spectaculars from the heart of Tundratown! Synchronized swimming direct from Marsh Market! Tiny mouse drone shows soaring over Little Rodentia! And of course, a musical finale by superstar Gazelle – all of which we’ll see from the livestream watch party.
Jared Bush, the writer and director of Zootopia 2, contributed to the script, and Byron Howard, the director of Zootopia 2, directed the new show. This means that the new show will blend Zootopia and Zootopia 2 to create a fully up-to-date show.
Character Meet & Greets
You’ll be able to meet Judy and Nick at Discovery Island near the Tree of Life at the Zoogether Day Gathering Spot. They have brand-new outfits inspired by Zootopia 2, which hits cinemas in November.
Zootopia Merchandise
Discovery Trading Company will be stocked with brand-new Zootopia merchandise! You’ll find t-shirts, a crewneck, a hat, a water bottle and a Loungefly backpack inspired by the Zootopia: Better Zoogether poster!
If you’re a pin collector, then there are some brand-new pins for you to collect, including a set of mystery Zootopia: Better Zoogether pins.

Disney have posted a first look at the queue signs for the attraction on their Instagram! Officer Clawhauser is on the standby entrance, and Flash the sloth is on the lightning lane sign.
