A Guide to Hollywood Studios

Step into the glitz and glamour of Hollywood Studios as you stroll under tall palm trees down the famous Hollywood Boulevard. Hollywood Studios has plenty of rides and attractions and is also the home of Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

To help you plan your trip to Hollywood Studios, here’s an overview of all the attractions and dining options in this Disney World park!

Transportation

Water Taxis transport guests between several Disney resorts and Hollywood Studios. These resorts are the BoardWalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Swan and Dolphin Hotels. You can also travel by boat between Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

The Disney Skyliner connects Hollywood Studios to four Disney resorts; Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Pop Century and Art of Animation. It can also be used to reach the EPCOT International Gateway.

Shows & Fireworks

Fantasmic!

Enter Mickey’s dream where a battle of good vs evil is taking place. You’ll see lots of your favourite Disney characters in this show which consists of incredible effects, stunts and fireworks.

Wonderful World of Animation

Projected onto the Chinese Theatre, all your favourite movies are brought to life in this show that celebrates everything we love about Disney and Pixar animated films.

Hollywood Boulevard

Take a walk down Hollywood Boulevard and browse the shops or have a bite to eat in the Brown Derby restaurant. At the end of the Boulevard, you’ll find the Chinese Theatre, home of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway: Join Mickey and Minnie on a wacky adventure through a cartoon universe.

Dining

The Hollywood Brown Derby: Replica of the famous Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant serving American food, most notably the cob salad.

The Trolley Car Cafe: Starbucks coffee.

Echo Lake

Echo Lake is the perfect place to find something to eat with a range of restaurants, including 50’s Prime Time Diner. Across from the lake, you’ll find the Indiana Jones stunt show that showcases iconic moments from the hit franchise.

Rides & Attractions

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!: Join Indy and Marion in this behind-the-scenes live stunt show with special effects. Watch as famous scenes from the franchise are reenacted right in front of your eyes!

Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: Board a Starspeeder and explore hyperspace in this 3D simulator. Look out for some familiar faces but remember, each ride is different, so you don’t know where you’ll go or who you’ll meet!

Vacation Fun: A short animation starring Mickey and Minnie.

For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration: Listen to tales of Arendelle, watch moments from the movie and sing along with your favourite characters.

Dining

Hollywood & Vine: Share breakfasts with the stars of Disney Junior or enjoy lunch or dinner with Minnie and friends.

50’s Prime Time Cafe: Enjoy classic American comfort food in this unique dining experience. You’re joined by your extended family so make sure you’re on your best behaviour or you might get a stern talking too!

Epic Eats: A small kiosk selling funnel cakes. This is the only place you can get soft-serve ice cream at Hollywood Studios as it’s the only park that doesn’t sell Dole Whip.

Backlock Express: A large quick-serve restaurant where you’ll find burgers, Cuban sandwiches, Teriyaki chicken bowls and salads.

Dockside Diner: This quick-serve restaurant looks like an old steamboat. It serves all beef hot dogs.

Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction: Soft serve ice cream.

Commissary Lane

Commissary Lane is a little street which is home to the popular Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre. It’s also the location of Red Carpet Dreams, a Mickey and Minnie meet and greet.

Dining

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre Restaurant: Enjoy a sci-fi movie whilst dining in a car-shaped booth at this 50’s style drive-in restaurant.

ABC Commissary: A quick-service restaurant serving shrimp or pork tacos, grilled cheese and a plant-based burger.

Grand Avenue

Grand Avenue is a small nook that’s home to The Muppet’s 3D show. You can also grab a pizza from the local Pizzaria owned by Rizzo the Rat.

Muppet Vision 3D: Take a seat in the Muppet theatre and enjoy a hilarious show starring Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the muppet gang!

Dining

PizzeRizzo: Serves pizzas and meatball subs plus cannolis and pizza cookies for dessert.

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano: Homestyle Italian food including calamari, flatbreads and a range of pasta. For dessert try a cannoli or tiramisu.

Baseline Tap House: A large selection of craft beers perfect to pair with a pretzel or a mini charcuterie board.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Enter a galaxy far, far away and experience Star Wars like never before. Help the Resistance and escape from the First Order or take a seat in the Millenium Falcon and be part of a smuggling run.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: Join the Resistance on a secret mission in this trackless ride. Escape the First Order and their army of Stormtroopers with help from Resistance Fighters including Rey and BB-8.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: Take your seat in the cockpit of the Millenium Falcon and be part of an exciting smuggling mission. Will you take the role of pilot, engineer or gunner? Whatever your role, be prepared for a dangerous adventure through hyperspace.

Dining

Kat Saka’s Kettle: Star Wars themed popcorn. Why not get your popcorn in the Droid Parts Premium Vessel? It’s the perfect souvenir for any Star Wars fan.

Ronto Roasters: Serves breakfast wraps in the morning and a roasted pork and sausage wrap for lunch and dinner. You can also get a souvenir light-up Acid Spitter Orb sipper.

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo: Beef stir fry, BBQ ribs, tuna poke and plant-based meatballs are on the menu in this spacious hanger. The Acid Spitter Orb sipper is also available and can be purchased with Moof Juice.

Oga’s Cantina: Grab a drink at the galaxy’s most infamous bar. There’s a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, so there’s something for everyone.

Milk Stand: A frozen blend of coconut and rice milk with fruit flavours. Will you choose blue or green milk? You can also get milk in a Bubo Wamba Family Farms cup for that perfect souvenir.

Experiences

Droid Depot: Choose from a BB-series or R-series unit and assemble your customisable sidekick.

Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers: Gatherers will help you create your very own lightsaber and bring it to life with the power of Kyber crystals. What colour will you choose; red, blue, green or violet?

Toy Story Land

Explore Andy’s backyard and feel like one of his toys in this oversized land. Meet Woody, Buzz and Jessie or take a ride on the back of Slinky Dog.

Alien Swirling Saucers: Take a spin in a rocket piloted by your very own Alien guide.

Toy Story Mania!: Board a carnival-themed tram and aim at targets in this 4-D shooting game. There are five different themed games to play, each with a chance to earn points. Will you get the highest score?

Dining

Woody’s Lunch Box: Serves sandwiches such as the BBQ brisket melt and grilled cheese. Our personal favourite is the Totchos. Potato tots that are covered in beef chilli and topped with cheese, queso, soured cream and corn chips. For a sweet snack try the Lunch Box Tart, a pastry filled with raspberry marmalade.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ: A table-service restaurant serving up some BBQ favourites. Enjoy ribs, brisket and BBQ chicken plus sides and desserts.

Animation Courtyard

Explore the history of Disney at Walt Disney Presents or join your favourite Disney Junior characters for a musical celebration. You can also view props and meet characters from The Star Wars franchise at the Launch Bay.

Sunset Boulevard

Wander around Sunset Ranch Market which offers a variety of food and snacks. Ride on the Rock β€˜n’ Roller coater or take a trip to the Twilight Zone in the Tower Of Terror. At the end of the Boulevard is the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater, home of the night-time show Fantasmic!

Rides & Attractions

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster: Take a seat in a stretch limo and rock out to an Aerosmith hit whilst taking the ride of a lifetime. This fast ride includes inversions, loops and even a corkscrew so it’s not for the faint-hearted!

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: Join Lightening McQueen as he teaches you how to become a champion racer in this 10-minute show.

Tower of Terror: When you enter the Hollywood Tower Hotel, you also enter the Twilight Zone. Strapped into an elevator-style lift, you unexpectedly drop and rise over and over again in the dark.

Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage: A beautiful stage performance which brings Beauty and Beast to life through music, costumes and impressive performances.

Dining

Anaheim Produce: Snacks including fruit, churros and pretzels.

Rosie’s All-American Cafe: Hot dogs, burgers and Rosie’s All-American salad.

Catalina Eddie’s: Serves pepperoni or cheese pizzas. For a special treat try the Enchanted Rose, a decadent dark chocolate mousse shaped like a red rose, sitting on a cherry-chocolate shortbread biscuit.

Fairfax Fare: Waffle bowl filled with mashed potato and topped with either BBQ Beef, Korean Pork Belly or Buffalo chicken. There is also a plant-based noodles option.

Hollywood Scoops: Hand-scooped ice cream and sundaes.

KRNR The Rock Station: Snacks and frozen beverages including root beer floats.
