Here is our Disney World copycat recipe for Viking Coffee!
Where to Find Viking Coffee at EPCOT
You can grab a cup of Viking Coffee at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, a cozy little Norwegian-inspired bakery located in EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion.
This quick-service spot has a good selection of Nordic treats that also pair perfectly with your coffee.
So, if you’re wandering through EPCOT and need a caffeine kick, you can grab a Viking Coffee with a tasty school bread or some delicious cinnamon lefse for the ultimate Norwegian experience!

Viking Coffee: A History
It turns out that Viking Coffee does not have ancient or Norwegian origins.
However, Norway does have a huge coffee culture, and it is one of the top coffee consumers in the world!
They even have their own coffee cocktail, Karsk, a blend of hot coffee and liqueur.
And while Vikings didn’t sip on coffee cocktails, they certainly knew how to enjoy their beer and mead!
What is Viking Coffee?
Viking coffee is a simple blend of coffee and liqueur with hints of cocoa and caramel.
You can enjoy it hot or frozen from the Norway pavilion in EPCOT, or make your own with this recipe!
Kokekaffe
For the ultimate Norwegian experience, you can make kokekaffe, Norway’s traditional steeped coffee.
First, bring water to a boil in a saucepan, then remove it from the heat.
Next, add coarsely ground coffee and stir. Cover the saucepan and let the coffee steep for five minutes.
After steeping, stir gently and then allow it to sit for another minute before serving or continuing with our recipe!
