A Guide to Universal Islands of Adventure: All Attractions & Dining

Island of Adventure is home to seven themed worlds! This includes Jurassic Park, Marvel Super Hero Island, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade.

There are rollercoasters for the thrill seekers like The Incredible Hulk Coaster and rides for the little ones over in Suess Landing, as well as plenty of places to eat and drink.

So here’s everything you can find at Universal Islands of Adventure to help you plan your day!

Transportation

There’s parking available if you’re coming by car, a designated Uber Zone, or you can use the Lynx bus service.

If you’re staying at a Universal Hotel, they have free transportation that takes you from your hotel to the parks!

Shuttle Bus

The Universal Shuttle Bus picks you up from your hotel and takes you to CityWalk, where you can walk to either Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure.

Water Taxi

Water Taxis are available from Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Royal Pacific Resort, and Sapphire Falls Resort.

It takes about ten minutes to get from your hotel to CityWalk, where you can then walk to Islands of Adventure.

Shows & Fireworks

Hogwarts Always: Journey through a year at Hogwarts in a projection light show, which lights up Hogwarts Castle to create a magical performance.

Tip: During Halloween, the Dark Arts take over Hogwarts Castle, and in winter, the Magic of Christmas returns to Hogwarts!

Croissant Moon Bakery: A small counter service restaurant that serves breakfast, sandwiches and a variety of pastries and cheesecakes.

Confisco Grille: Excite your taste buds with cuisines from around the world. There are plenty of dishes to choose from, including chicken curry, sweet and sour sticky ribs, pad thai and Korean fried rice bowls.

Backwater Bar: A selection of cocktails, beer and wine.

Marvel Super Hero Island

Ride & Attractions

The Incredible Hulk Coaster: An intense launched coaster that reaches 67mph with big drops, loops and corkscrews. This is definitely one for the thrill seekers!

Storm Force Accelatron: Enter Professor Xavier’s power generator and help Storm take down Magneto in this spinning teacup-style ride.

Doctor Doom’s Fearfall: If you’re scared of heights, this ride isn’t for you! Be shot 185ft into the air and then plummet back down to earth again.

The Amazing Adventure of Spider-Man: This ride mixes a traditional dark ride with a 3D motion simulator and practical effects to create an epic adventure with your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.

Meet the Marvel Super Heroes: This is your chance to meet your favourite Superheros and Villains, including Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Storm and the Green Goblin.

Dining

Cafe 4: A Fantastic 4-themed restaurant serving Italian classics like pizza and pasta.

Captain America Diner: Here you’ll find American diner classics like burgers, chicken sandwiches and chicken salads.

Toon Lagoon

Ride & Attractions

Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges: Be prepared to get soaked on these Popeye-themed rapids!

Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls: A combination of coaster and log flume ride that ends with a 75ft drop into a splash zone. So you’re guaranteed to get wet!

Classic Comic Strip Characters: Meet Betty Boop, Popeye and Olive Oyl.

Dining

Comic Strip Cafe: A mix of American diner food plus Asian dishes like ramen and rice bowls.

Tip: The Comic Strip Cafe has seasonal opening dates, so check the Universal app for opening times.

Blondie’s: Try the famous Dagwood sandwich or have your own sandwich freshly made to order.

Skull Island: Reign Of Kong

Skull Island: Reign of Kong: Take a tour of Skull Island in an expedition truck, but be aware you’re not alone on the island!

Jurassic Park

Rides & Attractions

Pteranodon Flyers: Glide through the air beneath a Pteranodon in this gentle ride perfect for kids.

Jurassic Park River Adventure: Enter a raft and take a tour through Jurassic Park. Unfortunately, the calm ride won’t last long when the dinosaurs are on the loose and you head towards an 85-foot drop.

Jurassic World VelociCoaster: This launch coaster reaches 70mph in 2.4 seconds and doesn’t slow down! It’s the fastest and tallest coaster in Florida, so it’s perfect for thrill seekers.

Raptor Encounter: Meet Blue, the raptor from Jurassic World.

Dining

Thunder Falls Terrace: Feast on rotisserie chicken, BBQ ribs or slow-roasted pork in this stunning Jurassic Park-themed restaurant.

Tip: If you take a seat out on the patio, you can watch the riders on the Jurassic Park River Adventure get soaked!

Pizza Predattoria: A dinosaur-themed quick service restaurant serving up an assortment of pizzas.

The Burger Digs: A selection of burgers and chicken sandwiches is on the menu at The Burger Digs.

The Watering Hole: Head on down to The Watering Hole and grab yourself a refreshing alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink!

The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade

Ride & Attractions

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: Join Harry, Ron and Hermione and experience an epic adventure around the grounds of Hogwarts.

Flight of the Hippogriff: Ride on the back of a Hippogriff in this family-friendly coaster.

Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motobike Adventure: Hop on Hagrid’s enchanted motorcycle and fly around the Forbidden Forest in this speedy coaster. Remember, keep a lookout for all the magical creatures that live there!

Hogwarts Express – Hogsmeade Station: Take a ride on the Hogwarts Express, which takes you from Hogsmeade to King’s Cross Station over at Universal Studios.

Tip: You will need a park-to-park ticket to ride the Hogwarts Express.

Dining

Hog’s Head: Grab a Butterbeer, a Pumpkin Juice or even a beer at this magical pub.

Three Broomsticks: Enter Hogsmeade’s favorite pub that serves traditional British food, including English breakfasts, fish & chips and Shepherd’s Pie.

The Lost Continent

Ride & Attractions

The Mystic Fountain: This ancient carved stone houses a mischievous water spirit that likes to interact with guests. It plays music and tells jokes, but be careful, it also likes to squirt people with water!

Dining

Doc Sugrue’s Desert Kebab House: Choose from Beef, Chicken or Vegan Meatball Kebabs or Greek salad at this counter service restaurant.

Fire Eater’s Grill: A variety of gyros, chicken stingers and crispy green salads.

Mythos Restaurant: This immersive restaurant is situated inside a rock formation inspired by ancient mythology. It serves Mediterranean, Asian and American dishes.

Seuss Landing

The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride!: A slow-moving trolley that gives you a panoramic view of Seuss Landing.

Caro-Seuss-el: This carousel has characters from Dr Seuss’ books whose features you can control! You can turn their heads, blink their eyes and even wiggle their ears!

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish: Ride in a flying fish that you can move up and down as much as you want! Just be careful, there’s a chance you might get sprayed by a fountain!

The Cat in the Hat: See The Cat in the Hat come to life in this slow-moving ride that brings the book to life!

Dr. Seuss Character Zone: Meet The Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Sam-I-Am and The Grinch.

Dining

Moose Juice, Goose Juice: A quick stop for snacks and drinks.

Hop On Pop Ice Cream Shop: Cool yourself down with an ice cream sundae or root beer float.

Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous: Enter the big top circus and enjoy favourites like Chicken & Waffles, The Big Top Burger and Pizza Pasta.

Green Eggs & Ham Cafe: If you’re like Sam-I-Am and love Green Eggs & Ham, then try the Green Eggs & Ham Tots! You can also get Pizza Tots or Buffalo Chicken Tots.
